[Strategic] SOTM-EU on Frontpage?

SOTM in Denver is Strategic for OSM presumably because we all agree that building community and subsequently the map in US is very important.
Have you planned Denver on the basis of much eu attendance? I guess not. We need to recognise that for volunteer euro mappers a flight across the pond on their own credit card will be quite a hit. The positioning of adverts will not make a difference to people who are planning to only attend 1 SOTM this year or who fund from their own pocket and vacation allowance
