[Strategic] SOTM-EU on Frontpage?

Personally I don't think it is important. I see SOTM-EU as a community 
event. And community members will get word of it without an "ad" on the 
front page - such an ad would perhaps bring more visitors, but I doubt 
that it would make the conference better.

Also, not to forget that SOTM-EU was planned independently after 
Vienna's bid for SOTM 2011 was rejected (Vienna had already bid, and was 
rejected, for SOTM 2010). OSMF has been supportive of the idea, but 
nonetheless SOTM-EU is an event planned and bankrolled independently of 
OSMF, whereas SOTM-Denver is an OSMF event.

Should SOTM-EU fail, OSMF need not be overly concerned; but should 
SOTM-Denver fail, that could cost OSMF a lot of money and would likely 
also lead to some questions being asked. So it is only natural to have a 
SOTM-Denver ad on the OSMF web page.
