Besides the scholarships for people from "under-represented" countries, are
conference organizers planning any other scholarship opportunities for OSM
contributors?

Scholarships (~100) are a very key for putting on Wikimania each year, to
ensure members of the volunteer community (regardless of where they live)
are able to attend. I realize additional sponsorship would be needed, but
hope it could be found for SOTM.

Also, we always arrange dorm or other affordable accommodation options, and
would love to see such an option for SOTM to help keep costs down.

Cheers,
Katie

PS - I'll probably only attend SOTM this year if I get help with costs.
(e.g. employer)
