Hi,
You can addressing information to any object. The wiki Addr page 
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Addr gives details. You can add this 
to a node, such as a cafe, or to a building. If a single building has 
many addresses you can add nodes with the address details the to 
building. You can add an address node (or way) with no other information 
just to provide addressing info for the street.
