Proposed depot are close to parking (access private and special
purpose), so it seems a good idea to stay close to parking tag for
homogeneous.

"amenity=depot" seems also far better to me.

there is allready node with highway tag (stop, giveaway, traffic
signals...) but those node are directly ON a highway.
