[Tagging] How to start?

Hello,

This is my first post to 'tagging', so please do tell me if it's
inappropriate and would be better directed elsewhere.

On this page is a discussion about recording the information written on
bridges in Korea.  Most bridges have plaques as described.

There are two dates for the construction period.  I couldn't find a
suitable existing tag so they are tagged as:

construction_start_date=*
construction_end_date=*

There is other information there too, but I haven't translated it yet, so
I don't know if there are already suitable tags defined.

This date information could conceivably apply to any object, although it
might not be as easily available.

What should I do next?

Carry on with the tags I 'invented'?
Something else?
