Indeed we do! Objects that have variable colour schemes have a pair of
attribute tags in the form "...:colour=<list of colours>" and
"...:colour_pattern=<list of patterns>
Examples of pattern values are horizontal(stripes), vertical, diagonal,
squared, border, etc.
