I forward my question here because I think my first attempt was done
on the wrong list (transit at openstreetmap.org) :

My question is about the information board/boards at bus stops which
someone tries to tag in details in his French city (think about
disabilities). Accidentally, on the transit list, the tag "strip=yes"
was also questionned (check the picture). I guess it's about the road
markings on the road itself where the bus actually stops (but not
sure, it's maybe also something for blinds). Someone on the other list
suggested to replace it by "road_markings=yes". Any other suggestions
about this and the information boards ?
