Regardless of anyone's opinions on what the best way to map these
features is, both ways of mapping are extremely widespread. It's not
appropriate to mark a widespread mapping practice as incorrect without
community-wide discussion, and as far as I know no such discussion has
happened.
Therefore, in my opinion, the wiki changes should be reverted.
