This is somehwere that Wikidata can help. For example, the entry for
"newspaper":

  https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q11032

has a "label list" with entries in several tens of languages, e.g.
"Premsa" in Catalan and "krant" in Dutch, plus several in languages
that use non-western alphabets.
