[Tagging] Large, multilane road tagging question

Umm... Isn't this merely the tagging mailing list? I was unaware that sending an email to the list was a form of hijacking in any respect. I didn't steal the subject line... Maybe I'm missing something.
I will recheck the wiki re lanes. I thought I had understood the basic options, it seems there is more than I realize.
I will try to undo my incorrect edits.
