Come on, this change is a five-minute task.

Every new feature requires changes to software. If you abolished all new
features for that reason, OSM would be a blank white map.

See the wiki (proposal and talk page) why this isn't sufficient.

BTW: You should vote after start of voting, not before discussion has even
started. You are obviously so biased that you don't care at all for other
opinions or facts.
