The cited page labels the key as proposed. As it is used 20K times already
I'd say it is well accepted and should be changed to 'in use'.

The page https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:amenity%3Dadvertising,
usage about 1K, redirects onto the proposal page for advertising=*,
which is a bit odd for a documentation page.

It should be changed into carrying a discouragement box and
the "possible synonym" template.

Martin, would you want to do that, as it was your proposal page?
