Please, let's not go this way. Not for adits, not for anything. Terminology
exists for a reason and if you just go with whatever layman names happen to
be the most common, it will inevitably lead to collisions and confusion. I
saw this happen many times as a translator of technical documentation in a
language where terminology is not well established. Let's make use of the
fact that the tags are in English, which has terms for virtually anything,
there's no need to resort to imprecise or ambiguous tags just because
people without necessary expertise use them often enough.
