I could not evaluate it either. But then I think if someone wants to enter that data in to OSM that is fine.

The fact that someone can specify what a plant species is and I cannot does not mean it cannot go in to OSM.

Oh dear. A dirty filthy import. Where would OSM be if they were allowed?
A lot more blank areas on the map. May be not where you are, but in some places they have been very usefull.

If you cannot use a tag, don't use it.

But don't ban its use just because you cannot use it.
