> +1, the reason via ferrata has been given its own highway value was to require from data consumers to explicitly include it (so they would be aware and had to decide how and if it was included in their work). If it would just be a property of an established highway class like path, many maps would accidentally render these in an inappropriate way without being aware of it.
Thanks a lot for the explanation. I read up on troll tag and it seems
wise to avoid those.
