no, the trees we are looking at are not incidental, they are part of the road. They are a feature of the road, are on the land of the road. The fields are beyond the road, they are on different grounds.

Fences and hedges also are on private ground (at least this is the typical situation when the properties along the road have hedges or are fenced). There are some notable exceptions, e.g. motorways and high speed train routes. In these cases there would indeed be room for a specific tag on the road or railway as well.
