[Tagging] Compliments and thanks to the "iD people"!

(Not directly a tagging issue, but very often mentioned here, and rarely in
a positive way!)

I would like to thank the iD developers for their work on keeping route
relations right when changes are made to the ways.

I was very negative about that because I spent a lot of time repairing the
damage caused by iD-users who just didn't know what was going on with route
relations. I remained sceptic when I heard work had been done: see first,
then believe. And I was not the only one.

At this point, when I check a long distance hiking route for errors, I
hardly find any errors caused by mappers. The ones I find are not typically
caused by iD-use; JOSM appears just as often the cause. So it's really down
to mapper error now.

I am finally convinced. My compliments and thanks again!

(I still have a lot of wishes when it comes to managing relations online,
but that's another chapter!)

Best, Peter Elderson
