[Tagging] Mapping Ecomuseum

But since the ecomuseum is not just a physical limited space but it is a sum of areas of different municipality, I should add the tag on that big area?

Should I use the tag museum=ecomuseum?

tourism=museum should go on the whole museum (including grounds / outdoor areas and auxiiliary buildings), not just the main building.

The "museum" key is documented to be about the museum subject, (as is the key "subject"). https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key%3Amuseum
Not sure about a suitable value, most common seems "local" (246), which might be a fit, "heritage" has just a single use and no hits for "ecomuseum" (which might still be worth considering).
