> I would prefer something a little more specific.  There are all kinds of reasons for mourning, death is just one.  What we're after is a place for mourning the deceased.  So "place_for_mourning_the_deceased" might be more accurate, if somewhat wordy.  BTW, this discussion sounds like it's describing what is commonly called in the U. S. a "funeral home."
