Why?

One of the two meanings of community: "people
<https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/people> who are
considered
<https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/considered> as a
unit <https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/unit> because
of their <https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/their>
common <https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/common>
interests
<https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/interest>, social
<https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/social> group
<https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/group>, or
nationality
<https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/nationality>:"
https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/community
And then the meaning of club "an organization
<https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/organization> of
people <https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/people> with
a common <https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/common>
purpose <https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/purpose> or
interest <https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/interest>,
who meet <https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/meet>
regularly
<https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/regularly> and take
part <https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/part> in
shared <https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/shared>
activities
<https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/activity>:"
https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/club

So in my case the club is a community. But not every community is a club
;)  Clubs are a subset of community.
