As you are the one proposing to do this mechanical edit, it is your
responsibility to provide the community the list and your proposed
translations. It is not up to the community to download the list and guess
at what translation you might apply.

There is value in ensuring that the community has input on the proposed
translations, that the translations are correct/appropriate, and that the
translations are documented for easy reference in the future. For imports
and mechanical edits the wiki is the traditional place to do this.
