But it matters for routers/navigation systems !
That's the point I am trying to make.
If we map the distinction between commuter and touristic routes we provide
the end user by means of the preferences built into the router navigation
(or by offering the end user to select the type of routes she prefers) to
be sent along fast or touristic routes. That is something which to my
knowledge most (all?) car navigation systems cannot achieve. Don't
under-estimate this aspect.
