And I could imagine this would be then announced on twitter and OSM weekly

Possibly even included on at least the Tagging list, & maybe every mailing
list?, on the 1st of each month to show what changes happened last month?

That way, if someone is subscribed to the "US" list, but not Tagging, they
also get to find out about any changes that have gone through.
