There are 40k barrier=hedge with area=yes set - that's over 2% of all.
I deem that a regression in the renderer not a bug in the database.
But that's just my 2ct. Why I decided to reply is the "cannot be used
on areas" part. They can and they are - but it might have unintended
consequences.
