it depends on your definition of “customer”, for example at the Mercedes plant in Sindelfingen you can come to get your brand new car rather than having it sent to a car dealer, and there are up to 2000 people a day who do it. These are true customers, while others are only visitors who are interested in seeing the production process but are not buying a car (as in getting one they have previously ordered).
You may not be interested in this distinction, but some mappers may be, and we should not level this out by performing an automated edit.
