Hi Joseph,
As a non native speaker I would say that the value depot is misused every civil company or contractor has a depot, just to store unused, engines, material or even mobile homes or toilets. Youre even able to offer or store packages of any kind in a depot.
So to specify a depot for junk or scrapyards, there are many ways to look at it for instance at Saint Athan, where they realy scrap airplanes but only after a strip search.
