I could see the sort of people who micromap street lighting also mapping
street signs.  Possibly with greater utility.  If you're on a street corner
and
you think you're at X and the map says there should be a sign for X
visible there but you see no sign, maybe you're not where you thought
you were.  But even that is a bit of a stretch.
