swimming_lanes would be less confusing in documentation,
preset implementation would be easier and reduce
risk of confusion (initially I was confused about kind of lanes).

Negative is that it takes longer to type.

> Hi,
> I'd like to tag the number of the lanes in a swimming pool.
> Though there is a "> lanes <https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:lanes>> " tag for highways, its Wiki page does not mention pools.
> Wiki pages on swimming ("> leisure=swimming_pool <https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:leisure%3Dswimming_pool>> ", "> sport=swimming <https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:sport%3Dswimming>> ", "> Swimming and bathing <https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Swimming_and_bathing>> ") don't mention this feature.
> I believe it would be a useful tag to indicate the capacity of the pool (2...10 lanes for an SCM pool makes a difference), or to help to choose pools for events. (8 lanes for a competition, 10 lanes for World Championship or Olympics, etc.).
> So. Should one use the existing "lanes" (and add it to the Wiki page), or "swimming_lanes" (as one suggests on the Wiki talk page, though not in use) or "swimming_pool:lanes" or what?
