there’s a proposal amenity=student_accomodation 

building (btw. landuse as well) are not defining “features” (things that happen in the building), for a warehouse, the feature in the warehouse building(s) could get another tag. Amenity doesn’t seem a suitable tag, maybe man_made (like man_made=warehouse / distribution_centre or similar) in analogy to man_made=works could be used?

I would be interested to read from the amazon mappers what kind of hierarchy/feature classes should be covered in this domain.
