Hi there,

This is about a quite common kind of pub in Spain, Portugal or even
Belgium: they are specialized in craft beers but they do not brew anything,
therefore they cannot be tagged as microbrewery=yes. You can find 5 to
20-30 different taps, all of them serve craft beer, that is, from
non-commercial brands. Usually, you’ll have always beers from some local or
regional breweries. Often, other than lager type.

As they have beers from multiple breweries on the taps, the current tagging
scheme brewery=various is the one who matches the better, but it is really
inaccurate. The goal is about being able to list all these kind of pubs, in
a very similar way the Untappd-app (https://untappd.com/, social network
for beers) does, where you can find in a map which amenities will have some
craft beers.

Currently in taginfo there is nothing valuable for unification:
https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/search?q=brewery%3Dcraft
<https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/search?q=brewery=craft>

In order to do so, my tagging proposals will be:

- Or brewery=craft (issue here will be the possible confusion with
craft=brewery)
- Or drink:beer=craft
- Or taproom=yes (similar scheme to microbrewery)

I would like to know your thoughts about, and also another country
realities (e.g. in Germany, microbreweries are quite much common) to see
how specific is this issue.

Best regards
