[Tagging] Toll gantries?

Just trying to map a highway toll gantry eg

The wiki, https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:highway%3Dtoll_gantry,
says map it as a node: highway
<https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:highway>=toll_gantry

When I tried that, iD says
"Open Road Toll should be part of a line or area based on it's tags",
but when I then tried it as a line, it said
"Highway Feature should be a point, not a line"?

Does anybody know just how we're supposed to do them?
