I got terribly busy with some other things (work and a well-needed 
holiday) so this proposal has been left undiscussed for a while.
I did not get a lot of replies, but they were valuable.

For the place_of_worship=lourdes_grotto

replies seemed in favour, and in favour of deprecating the
place_of_worship:type=* in lieu of place_of_worship=*, with a good 
description at the first.

Is this something I should hold a vote on?
Or just something I can add this info to the place_of_worship wiki and 
change the current values on openstreetmap (1800 occurrences of 
place_of_worship:type, with 8 values taking up 90% of the occurrances 
and there being 36 values in place now

Following the discussion, I am retiring my proposal for man_made=grotto, 
instead writing on a cave=grotto (even though natural=cave and a grotto 
is (usually) not natural, but man_made)
