I am not sure we can come up with an exhaustive list (but we could list
many examples).  The term "pack animal" is used in the US, and perhaps
other places, but may be confused with "animals that travel in packs"
(which is not what we mean here), and may be too narrow a category as there
may be animals that one may wish to tie to a "hitching post/rack/rail/etc."
that are not used for hauling cargo (but I cannot think of any examples off
hand).  Basically, the type of animal in question is "any domesticated
animal for which it is appropriate and effective to restrain by tying to a
stationary object"
