I see. It's a defect of the English language that a hitching post isn't 
necessarily a post, like a parkway isn't necessarily for parking. :-D I 
was thinking that "hitching rail" and "hitching ring" could both be 
aliased to a "hitching post" preset for discoverability. (iD's presets 
alias many terms that aren't an exact match semantically.)
