[Tagging] meaning of office=physician

I documented it at

as 
"Appears to be a duplicate of far more popular, clear and supported amenity=doctors"
Though it is possible that my impression of situation is wrong and so far
feedback I got was really limited.

If this is wrong: feel free to improve that page if there is some actual systematic
difference between this two tags.
