I agree with you, but unfortunately, you do sometimes see comments that,
hopefully unintentionally, can be read as "I've been doing this for years
so I'm an expert; you're a newbie which means that you don't know what
you're talking about; so what I think is right & what you think is wrong; &
even if you convince some other people that you've got a good idea, we're
not going to change the way we do things" :-(
