I've said this thread would die, now is a good time.  Other venues blossom, a lot of off-list emailing has been happening (I'm soaking wet) and we tie it off not-real-cleanly but kinda-cleanly here and now.

One last weird tie-in (bundle, gnarl, hopefully not snarl):  this seems it might turn into something really strong, like the not-quite-Zoom but with a decent videoconference with some good leadership I recently participated in at my / our national chapter (Jess and Maggie, I'm talking to you).  If somehow you could break out a room into consensus (building, I think we'd have to start with "here's how OSM builds consensus..." lessons), you might have a talking point, to be refined into a concept, which could take shape with consensus...and Bob's your uncle.  Limitless.

The strength whatever this "re-definition" builds into OSM's future is vivid.  With this kind of "power in the fabric of us" I don't foresee anything but the most wiley and weasel-y offensive power structure try to take over OSM.  There really are a whole lot of things going on here and now.  We have each other's email, if nothing else.  There is a lot cookin' on many burners all over this project.  We are brilliant.
