for that use case, the window=* key is somewhat common:

So mapping the window as a node in the building outline and adding the tags

window = yes
+ window:material = stained_glass
+ artist_name = *, and/or
+ artist:wikidata = * (if there is a Wikidata entry for the artist)

should represent the situation well.
