[Tagging] amenity=washing_machine

I wanted to map three public washing machines today, but JOSM didn't
like my combination of amenity=vending_machine +shop=laundry which I
made up on the spot. I have since learned that there is
amenity=washing_machine, but I think there could be some standard tags
added to that page. I've started a talk there as well:

I must have a closer look at one and see if it's "Bring your own
detergent" or if that is included.

Not sure how common they are outside of Ireland; I don't remember seeing
them elsewhere out in the open. In students' dorms, yes, maybe that's
the use of that tag originally.
