Yes, that's not entirely wrong as they're growing plants there, but as
Joseph says

A private comment was sent to me concerning floating solar panels eg
https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/825957090, which has been done as
landuse=industrial + floating=yes, so that could be another option, but
possibly using landuse=farmland?

Once again, the problem with =farmland is that the plants being grown are
not intended for harvesting or replanting, although I just spotted this:
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Talk:Tag:landuse%3Dfarmland#Farmland.2C_farmyards_and_meadows
which I don't recall seeing, even though it was only a few weeks ago?

I particularly noticed there the concept of "farmland" being used to "mean
a grassland area of environmental protection for the promotion of
biodiversity", which would seem to be a pretty accurate definition of what
is going on here?

I was working on wetland as it's permanently immersed in water & I couldn't
think of anything better!

Same with mentioning natural=islet. No, it's not an islet as it's man-made
& floating in place, but couldn't think of anything that described it
better!

Maybe just a new tag man-made=raft would be the easiest way out?

Thanks

Graeme
