the amount of toll is not deducible from the number of sections or their length (in the sense that the same length could have very different prices on different toll roads). “many tolls” could be far less than a single toll. Around here, toll generally depends on the length, it doesn’t get more expensive if you leave and reenter the motorway in the middle (but eventually you pay the “price” of loosing time while queuing).
I would not care about having 2 toll sections through splitting, it’s an approximate method anyway, at least as long as we do not tag actual toll plans.
