the first example could be seen as stele I think. The second “column”, or statue if you represent only the statue on top (e.g. with a column below and layer tagging).

For memorial tagging I think the second example will usually be seen as one piece (without knowing the history of this and acknowledging that there will be exceptions like several memorials in one, also with different start_dates), for artwork tagging I could imagine splitting the object into parts.

The first is a specific type with 4 bodies, one in each direction, right?
