I'd generally advise that if you're not reasonably familiar with the local
situation and you're not clear on what the lanes are to skip. The
aftermath of the maproulette lanes challenge really drove it home (to me at
least) that it's better for data consumers to have the full view of the
situation or none at all than something inaccurate.
