I don't like the former as it seems simply incorrect:  "power transmission over wires" is not "radio transmission / carrier wave (or whatever might be the modulation) over wires."  The latter seems like "standard tagging."

Thank you!  If you don't understand this / these, I would advise simply not mapping this / these.

I think that is for another communication venue, something like "the rendering channel(s)."  There doesn't seem to be any single one of these, but that might evolve better.  Though, such talk (about making a renderer) does happen, like among smaller groups of individuals within OSM, in other venues like Slack and GitHub and sometimes in our wiki, if you put certain pieces of it together enough to figure out how to build a renderer.  OSM often waves our hands a bit here, saying something like "rendering takes care of itself."  No, it doesn't always, but it does sometimes.  Just not (quite) on the tagging talk-list.

See, from North America (Washington) to California to Europe/UK to Australia, you gotta love the way this signal (about better antenna tagging in OSM) bounces all over the globe (though, not Earth's ionosphere's D layer), but the idea is the same!
