Unfortunately various things have been lumped into the key 'sport' ... 
yoga ... fitness...


I think were there is a competitive edge then sport suits, e.g. golf, 
tennis, chess all have that competitive edge.

Yachting may be considered to be non competitive, but then consider the 
Cruising Yacht Club of Australia .. cruising would not be 'competitive' 
yet they hold the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race... truly competitive!
