[Tagging] Landcover... not again?....!

And to be clear, I mean here support among mappers.

I supported some tagging that I consider as horrifically bad and 
that I would design differently, but I see no reason to do this
with tagging that has no clear support and duplicates existing one
and which is creating more problems than solving and deprecates
some widely used tags.
