Italy is one of these. In the Po valley, we have plenty of boundaries that
follow old riverbeds.
The same is true of roads that move when modernized (roundabouts for
example)
Unfortunately we have plenty of cases where someone glued boundaries to
roads (including by accident).
We also have another kind of discussion here, that regards boundaries
"glued" to mountain features (ridges and peaks). Those move with erosion.
And then we also have boundaries that are conflicting because the surveys
on both sis were documented with different coordinate systems.

Please don't glue boundaries to other features around here.
