By the way, the wiki also has tools for keeping track of RfCs and votes
under way. For example, you can track recent changes to any proposal
page that says it's under way. [1] This page can be filtered to just the
latest revision of each page, or just pages that are or aren't on your
watchlist. There's also an RSS feed. Special:RecentChangesLinked can do
this for inbound links to any page on the wiki.
It isn't the same as getting an invitation to participate in a vote
delivered to your inbox, but on-wiki solutions are also worth
investigating for those who don't subscribe to the lists for various
reasons. The DynamicPageList extension would enable us to maintain a
feed of new proposals without any maintenance overhead [2], but in the
meantime, maybe someone would be interested in maintaining one manually
as part of the main page's "News" section?
