Hi there,
Most invalid parking spaces are marked with a traffic sign, accordingly those space will be sufficient of width and length. There is not much need to measure it like I do using several measurement tools. OSM is still a better map by making surveys, locally but by using arials it is not getting better.
Ps a kerb is mostly 1.00 m and tiles are 0.30x0.30, so an estimation is quit simple to make on a survey and a laser won't do during dayligth.
